We’ve spent nearly twenty years developing an ecosystem that lets us see, start, scale, and sell technology platform companies.

  1. See It - fast.

    We are constantly looking for a problem to solve - a fire to put out. A big fire. A fire that affects a large group of people. A fire that requires intelligence, sophistication, and deep experience to extinguish. We read, we travel, we build relationships, we observe - looking for smoke. Looking for confusion. Looking for the chaos that causes people to be shortsighted. We strategically study confusion because it is the smoke that tells us we are close to a fire. And once we find the fire, we get to work.

  2. Start It - fast.

    Usually, we do that by buying or building a technology platform to serve as the foundation for a new business. We know technology and have a lot of platforms already under our management, so we can move fast. We combine the assets we’ve developed over the past 20 years, a little elbow grease, and a lot of passion to build a new business that can scale securely and quickly.

  3. Scale It - fast.

    We have developed a 300 point governance and growth process that streamlines, secures, and scales technology businesses. Everything from recruiting and marketing to compliance and janitorial. That lets us implement our processes - fast. With our platform and processes in place, we can securely scale - fast. We put the petal to the metal to grow through marketing, sales, and acquisitions.

  4. Sell It - fast.

    We plan out the entire see, start, scale, and sell strategy from the very beginning of each fund. That means we start preparing to sell from day one. We usually have buyers lined up and activated 12 months or more before our targeted exit date. So we can sell - fast.

Our History

Twenty years of technology leadership.

We’ve been building up speed for a long time.

 

2001 - 2008

Our founder designed the first prototype of the healthcare EMR that would become HealthTrust Software.

A $30 investment produced more than $2M in shareholder value.

2009 - 2014

We took on our first investor and began learning the ins and outs of private equity. We slowly figured out a way to do it better.

A $300K investment produced more than $4M in shareholder value.

2015 - 2018

The team relocates to Austin, Texas and begins designing the software and services platforms in use today.

We bought out prior investors so we could own the entire platform stack.

2019

GoodLook Inc. is founded to start, scale, and sell technology companies built on our platforms. Three have been created so far.
